HOW COULD THEY KILL HIM!!!! There are plenty of decent ways to get rid of a character without killing them off! They've made it impossible for him to come back now!

I know that it's improbably that Gary would come back due to the recent possession charges, but there are ways to ensure that an opening is left should he be able to come back...

Two characters gone... I'm not sure I can handle another season without my two favourites.

Now that I've taken some time to un-freak-out, I think I can make somewhat of a decent post.

I CANNOT FREAKING BELIEVE THIS! Am I the only one who never saw it coming? I gotta agree with Fayre here and say that THEY CANNOT GET HIM BACK HIM ANYMORE! Why did they kill him anyway? Makes a good story plot and makes it even more emotional...? Maybe, but it still SUCKS! *breathes in and out*

Seriously, I don't know what the hell they did in season 8 but I feel like I've been pissed off at them the whole year... First Sara (I know it's Jorja's decision but until I knew that for sure, I was pissed at them) and then him! It's being too much and unfortunately, CSI's been going down in my mind and I've stopped as addicted to it as I was last year ad the previous years.

Heartbreaking season finale which I believe will have the contrary effect than last year and will get less people's attention for the season 9 premiere in opposite to "Dead Doll" which attracted over 25 million viewers world wide.

“CSI” star Gary Dourdan was arrested Monday 28 April for possession of narcotics and dangerous drugs, police said.

The 41-year-old actor was found asleep in his car by the Palm Springs Police Department, authorities said. An officer saw Dourdan’s car parked on the wrong side of the street with the interior light on and someone sleeping in the driver’s seat at approximately 5:12 a.m. Monday, according to Palm Springs police Sgt. Mitch Spike.

When the officer approached the vehicle, the officer found Dourdan (whose real name is Robert Gary Durdin) “disoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs,” police confirmed to Access.

Upon searching the vehicle, the officer “subsequently located suspected cocaine, heroin, Ecstasy, miscellaneous prescription drugs and paraphernalia.”

Dourdan, 41, was placed under arrest and was booked at the Palm Springs jail on possession of narcotics and possession of dangerous drugs.

Police said Dourdan was released on $5,000 bail at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. A court date was not immediately scheduled.

This is why they got rid of him. It is unlikely that he would be able to come back to the show for next season. I knew that they would discontinue the character after I heard about his arrest, but I was very unhappy with the way that they got rid of him. There are much better and more tasteful ways to discontinue a character.

if they wanted to get rip of him and his character they could have done the some thing with sara, let him leave and give him an opportunity to clean up. now in a way he dont have anything to clean up his act for apart from his kids.

the ratings will go down the wont be able to recover after this
